"The Gateway vs Duo Residences" Part of Singapore Noise Art Mentorship programme, each mentee were tasked with interpreting their given tale/folklore that would then be exhibited on glass shards along orchard road. For years, a large plot of prime land stood empty between the The Gateway. The belief was that the two sharp edges of the Gateway created bad fengshui, also known as "sha". Eventually, the Duo took up the empty site, its curved structure designed to counteract the negative fengshui and allow for a good flow of "qi" (energy).
